Aug. 26 (UPI) — The Dallas Cowboys and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $136 million.

Sources told NFL Network, ESPN and The Athletic about the agreement Monday. The pact includes $100 million guaranteed. Lamb will receive a $38 million signing bonus, the most ever given to a wide receiver.

Lamb’s $34 million average annual salary is the second-most among NFL wide receivers, trailing only Justin Jefferson ($35 million).

The 25-year-old totaled career-highs with a league-best 135 catches, 1,749 yards and 14 total touchdowns over 17 starts last season. He logged 395 catches for 5,145 yards and 35 total touchdowns through his first 66 games with the Cowboys.

The No. 17 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Lamb was to play the 2024 season on the $17.99 million option year of his rookie contract. He is now signed through 2028.

The Cowboys will face the Cleveland Browns in their season opener Sept. 8 in Cleveland.
