GREAT TRUMP WAVE INAUGURATION COMMEMORATIVE
I understand that the market is being flooded with all kinds of Inaugural Souvenirs, much of it fast buck junk.
I have been asked by a number of people to issue something of quality commemorating the Inauguration of No. 50.
I asked my good friend and print artist Danny Chau, who is the best in Hong Kong, to come up with something using one of the best images I ever made. You know the thing.
I wanted something high quality, compact, durable and affordable. Something ordinary people can afford.
Here it is!
Trust me, these images do not do justice to the final product. The colors are absolutely gorgeous! The dyes are "sublimated" onto the aluminum base then sealed with glass.
We have three sizes that will allow for easy shipping (which is included in the price). Two of the sizes are under one Franklin. Each print will be signed on the reverse by me and numbered 50.
Now I don't want anyone to think I am trying to get rich with this. I'm not. And when you hear the price you will chuckle because it is a bargain. It certainly towers over the vapid chicken sh-t sold for thousands by you know who. I am blessed to be able to share my work without engaging in commercial/political hucksterism.
The reason I am doing this is to give something back to all of you who have hung with me all these years. We made it! (For now). I'm also helping my good friend who gets it and whose print business can use a little help in a lousy economy.
We are also offering this photograph I took of Mt Fuji in November. Believe it or not, I took this surrounded by throngs of Asian tourists. My words: "I'm going into the swamp!":
I make no pretense of being a great photographer. I'll settle for "pretty good." Plenty of people I respect agree. And it is no exaggeration to say that it is the art of photography that helped me find my way later in life. If you are wondering how, you can ask me on March 6.
