Carolina Panthers coach Frank Reich told reporters that Young will miss one to two weeks because of a sprained ankle.
Young sustained the ankle injury in the Panthers’ loss to the New Orleans Saints on Monday in Charlotte, N.C.
Veteran quarterback Andy Dalton will start for the Panthers in Week 3. The Panthers will face the Seattle Seahawks at 4:05 p.m. EDT Sunday in Seattle.
