The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee postponed a planned business meeting Wednesday to vote on President Biden's nomination of Neera Tanden to be the director of the Office of Management and Budget.
Tanden's nomination was on shaky ground ahead of the scheduled committee vote after Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and other Republicans said they would oppose her nomination last week.
