Washington Post conservative blogger-turned-vocal Democrat Jennifer Rubin may be carrying water for Vice President Kamala Harris, suggests a prematurely published opinion piece touting Harris’s choice of running mate with a placeholder for the nominee’s name.
The Post published an article Monday headlined “Why TK TK is the perfect VP choice for Kamala Harris” according to a screenshot posted by The Washington Free Beacon’s Andrew Stiles.
An image presumably to feature a photo of the nominee instead held a black block with text reading “image TK.”
“TK” is publishing jargon for “to come.”
The piece appears to have been taken down from the Post‘s website:

While the article possibly could have been intended to simply tout Rubin’s own ideal nominee, the premature publication with a placeholder name and image clearly suggests the piece was being prepared to tout the selection after it was made – regardless of who Harris chose.
Harris will announce her choice as soon as Monday.
Rubin, once a mainstream conservative, was a vocal opponent of former President Donald Trump’s takeover of the Republican Party and now identifies as a Democrat.
She has encouraged state officials to block Trump from appearing on the 2024 ballot and previously called for anyone associated with the Trump administration to be blacklisted from holding a job and ostracized from “polite society.”
