The 49ers traded the 2021 No. 3 overall pick to the Dallas Cowboys on Friday, according to multiple reports. Lance was set to become the No. 3 quarterback on the team’s depth chart behind Brock Purdy and Sam Darnold. Lance is now the likely backup to Dak Prescott in Dallas.
The 49ers reportedly received a fourth-round pick.
