Germany successfully passed their record fiscal package (no small political feat given the new government nor Chancellor have yet been confirmed), the UK continued their own policy activism with meaningful cuts to the welfare budget (cuts which were unimaginable not so long ago for many on the left and within the Labour Party), the European Commission published a policy paper laying out capital markets union vision and building a ‘Savings & Investment Union’, and China’s BYD revealed a new EV which can charge 400 miles of range in less than 5 minutes...
