Feb. 13 (UPI) — Netflix is teasing the new movie Damsel.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the dark fantasy film Tuesday featuring Millie Bobby Brown.
Damsel follows Princess Elodie (Brown), “a dutiful damsel who agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to find the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt.”
“Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive,” an official description reads.
The trailer shows the royal family betray Elodie and features a look at the fearsome, sentient dragon.
The cast also includes Nick Robinson as Elodie’s husband, Prince Henry, Robin Wright as Henry’s mother, Queen Isabelle, Ray Winstone as Elodie’s father, and Angela Bassett as Elodie’s stepmother.
Damsel is written by Dan Mazeau and directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later). The film premieres March 8 on Netflix.
Brown also stars as Eleven on the Netflix series Stranger Things, which started production on its fifth and final season in January.
