As ZeroHedge noted earlier today, Russia has the largest icebreaker fleet in the world, by far.
The World's Only Nuclear-Powered Icebreakers
Of Russia's 57 icebreakers, 9 are nuclear-powered. Russia is currently the only country in the world with nuclear-powered icebreakers. During the summer, when there isn't as much need for icebreaking in the arctic, some Russian icebreakers take Russian teens and paying tourists on a trip to the North Pole. The RT documentary below, was filmed during one of those trips.
It gives you a look at what it's like inside the icebreaker, which has some surprising amenities. Interesting stuff.
